স্টাফ রিপোর্টার :বাংলাদেশ সচিবালয়ে পরিবেশ, বন ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন মন্ত্রী লায়ন আব্দুল আউয়াল মিন্টুর সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন লায়ন্স ক্লাব অব ঢাকা ক্যাপিটাল গার্ডেনের নেতৃবৃন্দ। সাক্ষাৎ শেষে মন্ত্রীকে লায়ন্স ইন্টারন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট প্রদান করা হয়।
গত ৬ অক্টোবর ২০২৬ তারিখে সচিবালয়ে মন্ত্রীর দপ্তরে এ সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এ সময় লায়ন্স ক্লাব অব ঢাকা ক্যাপিটাল গার্ডেনের প্রেসিডেন্ট ও লিও ক্লাব অব ঢাকা ক্যাপিটাল গার্ডেন সিটির উপদেষ্টা আলহাজ্ব লায়ন খান আকতারুজ্জামান এমজেএফ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
সাক্ষাৎকালে আলহাজ্ব লায়ন খান আকতারুজ্জামান এমজেএফ লায়ন্স ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ডিস্ট্রিক্ট ৩১৫ বিডি বাংলাদেশের জোন চেয়ারপার্সন হিসেবে এবং লায়ন্স ক্লাব অব ঢাকা ক্যাপিটাল গার্ডেনের প্রেস অ্যান্ড মিডিয়া সেক্রেটারি, সম্মিলিত প্রেসক্লাব ফেডারেশনের মহাসচিব ও দৈনিক ফলাফল পত্রিকার সম্পাদক ও প্রকাশক লায়ন শেখ মোস্তাফিজুর রহমানের পক্ষ থেকে মন্ত্রী লায়ন আব্দুল আউয়াল মিন্টুর হাতে লায়ন্স ইন্টারন্যাশনাল সার্টিফিকেট তুলে দেন। এ সময় দৈনিক ফলাফল পত্রিকার সিটি প্রতিনিধি মো. জুয়েল উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎকালে লায়ন্স নেতৃবৃন্দ পরিবেশ, বন ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন মন্ত্রী লায়ন আব্দুল আউয়াল মিন্টুর সঙ্গে শুভেচ্ছা ও সৌজন্য বিনিময় করেন। পাশাপাশি পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব মোকাবিলা এবং সামাজিক উন্নয়নসহ বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে সংক্ষিপ্ত মতবিনিময় হয়।
এ সময় এক সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ পরিবেশে পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা, সৌজন্য ও শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময়ের মাধ্যমে সাক্ষাৎকারটি সম্পন্ন হয়।
Lions International Certificate Presented to Environment Minister Lion Abdul Awal Mintoo
Staff Reporter: A delegation of leaders from Lions Club of Dhaka Capital Garden paid a courtesy call on Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Lion Abdul Awal Mintoo at his office in the Bangladesh Secretariat. At the end of the meeting, a Lions International Certificate was presented to the minister.
The courtesy meeting was held yesterday at the minister’s office at the Bangladesh Secretariat. Alhaj Lion Khan Akhtaruzzaman MJF, President of Lions Club of Dhaka Capital Garden and Adviser to Leo Club of Dhaka Capital Garden City, was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, Alhaj Lion Khan Akhtaruzzaman MJF, in his capacity as Zone Chairperson of Lions International District 315 BD Bangladesh and on behalf of Lion Sheikh Mostafizur Rahman, Press and Media Secretary of Lions Club of Dhaka Capital Garden, Secretary General of Sammilit Press Club Federation, and Editor and Publisher of Dainik Folafol, handed over the Lions International Certificate to Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Lion Abdul Awal Mintoo.
Mohammad Jewel, City Representative of Dainik Folafol, was also present.
During the courtesy meeting, the Lions leaders exchanged greetings and felicitations with Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Lion Abdul Awal Mintoo. They also held a brief discussion on various issues, including environmental conservation, addressing the impacts of climate change, and social development.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere with an exchange of goodwill, courtesy and mutual cooperation.
